Newly Released: Figma Keyboard Shortcuts Collection (Available for download & print-friendly)
I’m new to Figma and am impressed by its excellence in function and usability.
Figma has made great effort on keyboard shortcuts to boost up efficiency. On their desktop app (I am using Release 77, Build 7 as of 13 Nov 2019) they provides the cheatsheet of the shortcuts in tabbed panel.
I would say tabbed panel is the only way to go for them coz there are way too many shortcuts to accommodate. Still, I have found this handling being a bit tedious because requires me (when I am looking for a special shortcuts) to recall its classification (which is actually an extra burden) before getting to it.
I need a full collection of shortcuts and started searching for it online. Then I surprisingly found there’s yet any completed online resources that gives an up-to-date shortcuts collection of Figma. Not on Figma’s official help center nor community. So I decided to create one one my own.
Keeping things simple, I screenshot the shortcuts in the desktop app and created a A3 size collection of the shortcuts. A dark and a light version were created to make themselves adaptive to various use cases. Both versions are print-friendly.
As a professional product designer, you could consider print the light version out and highlight whichever shortcuts you’d like to pay special attention to.
